Following the game, Delhi Police’s official X (previously known as Twitter) handle turned to social media and posted a humorous tweet about it. “Hello, @NYPDnews. We heard two big noises. In addition, Rishabh Pant’s important 42 runs in 31 deliveries helped India steady their innings, allowing them to score 119 runs in the first innings. Pakistan’s highest wicket-takers were Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf, each with three wickets. Furthermore, Mohammad Amir also collected two wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi took one.

To chase down the mark, Pakistan’s openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored 13 and 31 runs, respectively. The middle order failed to contribute much, with Usman Khan, Fakhar Zaman, and Imad Wasim scoring 13, 13, and 15 runs, respectively.

At one stage in the game, Pakistan needed to score one run every ball, but rapid breaks allowed India to take the lead. Jasprit Bumrah got three wickets, Hardik Pandya struck twice, while Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh grabbed one each as India triumphed by six runs.
