Certain pundits even asked for an inspection by the ICC (International Cricket Council) to ensure compliance. The matches played at the site have been low-scoring affairs, with batters failing to get started. Commentators described the deck as mushy, and uneven bounce has become the norm.

Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian spinner, described the ground as ‘playable’ ahead of the Indo-Pak showdown. Furthermore, he expressed trust in the Indian batting lineup, who played their practice game and inaugural game at the same site and appeared more at ease than the other teams.

“The one who best adapts to the conditions will win. And the rest will be similar to the Hyderabad pitch, with 200, 250, and 300. I don’t believe there should be any bowlers over there, and the work was moving like a bowling machine. The ball was constantly moving. Cricket will remain an attractive game as long as there is a duel between the bat and ball. Otherwise, if the bat dominates, it would gradually rise and fall, as we observed.” the Turbanator added.
“Because people need to see the context. When two wrestlers are wrestling, if one comes in and drops the other, who will come to see him win again and again? When someone comes and hits the big wrestler, everyone become fascinated. So, the duel between the bat and the ball must take place on a proper pitch, with the bowler also participating. Harbhajan remarked, “That would be the right pitch.”
