IPL 2022: The BCCI plans to reintroduce crowds to the stadiums.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) points to bring supporters; back to the stadiums within the 2022 Indian Head Affiliation (IPL), which might start on Walk 26. There will be 20 matches at Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium; and 15 matches at Brabourne and MCA Around the World Stadium in Pune.
The Indian Premier League will have ten teams this season after the Indian; board added two new clubs: the Gujarat Titans of Ahmedabad and also the Lucknow Super Giants of Lucknow. The 10 teams will compete in a total of 14 league matches (7 at home and 7 away); for a total of 70 league matches followed by four playoff matches. Five teams will be play twice by each side; while the remaining four teams will only be play once (2 only home and 2 only away).
