During the first T20I in Jaipur, Deepak Chahar had a good time with his sister Mailti Chahar

During the first T20I in Jaipur on Wednesday night, Indian swing bowler Deepak Chahar had a fun chat with his sister Mailti Chahar. Deepak Chahar’s home ground is Jaipur, and he was playing his debut match for India there. His family flocked to the stadium to see him play in Indian colors on his home turf.

Deepak Chahar had a poor performance with the ball in the encounter. With stats of 4-0-42-1, he was the most expensive bowler on the night. In the second T20I, Deepak will be trying to improve on his previous performance.

During the first T20I

Indian captain Rohit Sharma praised his bowling squad for keeping New Zealand to 164 runs after being on the verge of hitting more than 180 runs at one point. He singled out Ashwin for praise, saying that he gained wickets and kept the run-scoring under check during the middle overs.

“At one stage, they looked set for 180+ but in the end it was a great effort from the bowlers. It was a complete bowling performance for all of us. The spinners have been brilliant. They ball in tandem for the Delhi Capital and we’ve seen over the years that they are a wicket-taking option in the middle, which is a good sign.” Sharma said

“It’ll give them more confidence. Ash has played a lot of cricket. For him to come back from the World Cup has been good. We know his quality and the same goes for Axar.” he added

Team India will now travel to Ranchi for the series’ second encounter. They’ll want to win the game on Friday to wrap up the series.
