Jesse Marsch an American coach, will take over at Leeds United from Marcelo Biesla. Leeds United has signed American coach Jesse Marsch, with the club hopeful that a late-season; managerial move could help the club maintain its English Premier League position. Marsch took over for Marcelo Bielsa, who was fired on Sunday after a precipitous drop in results; and is back in work over three months after leaving RB Leipzig in Germany. He previously led Salzburg, another Red Bull-backed team, to back-to-back league and cup doubles in Austria. Marsch has agreed to a contract that will last through June 2025, subject to international approval. Leeds has lost five of its previous six league games, dropping to within two points of the relegation zone.
