Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne shared a photo of himself eating “daal and roti” for lunch on Friday, before of the Karachi Test. To bolster their spin attack, the visitors omitted fast bowler Josh Hazlewood from the first Test squad and gave leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson his Test debut.
Swepson, who is 28 years old, is Australia’s first specialist leg-spinner since Bryce McGain against South Africa in 2009.
