The passion of cricket fans peaked during the electrifying final over of the match, when MS Dhoni, the renowned former captain of the Chennai Super Kings, was present. A dedicated MS Dhoni fan couldn’t contain his enthusiasm when he saw his cricketing idol enter the stadium.
As MS Dhoni waited for the TV umpire to make a decision during the 20th over of the GT vs. CSK match in Ahmedabad, a die-hard fan went to the ground to witness his favorite player, Thala.
MS Dhoni humorously proceeded to run in the opposite direction before coming to a halt, leaving him confused for a few seconds. The fan then bent down and touched the legendary former CSK captain’s foot to convey his respect.

GT beat CSK by 35 runs
In the Indian Premier League 2024, Gujarat Titans (GT) took on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 59. Ruturaj Gaikwad, the captain of CSK, won the toss and decided to bowl against the home team on Friday. The Chennai Super Kings had to chase a 232-run total that the Titans had set. GT beat CSK by 35 runs.
Gujarat Titans’ openers, who were unstoppable and were hitting boundaries in every over, gave Chennai Super Kings a difficult start. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill, the GT openers, shared 207 runs in partnership for the first wicket. Shubman Gill, the captain, scored 104 runs off 55 balls, while Sai Sudharsan scored 103 runs off 51 balls.
