Australia drops to third place in the ICC rankings as Pakistan and India take the top two slots ahead of the ODI World Cup. India and Pakistan currently share a rating of 115 points each.

Rohit Sharma moves up one spot in the current rankings, but Fakhar Zaman drops to tenth
Speaking of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, the ace batter had an exceptional performance with the bat, finishing the Asia Cup as India’s second-highest run-scorer. Rohit scored 194 runs, including three fifties, for an average of 48.50. After the current ranking update, the Nagpur-born batsman has risen to ninth place for such a groovy display with the bat.
Meanwhile, Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman, who failed to perform to his full capacity throughout the Asia Cup, was demoted in the latest ICC rankings. The left-handed batter finished the competition with 65 runs in five innings and a pathetic 16.25 average. The batter is now ranked eighth.
