“There is a bit of pressure now” KL Rahul loss to RR in a crucial match

“There is a bit of pressure now” KL Rahul loss to RR in a crucial match. A victory over RR would have assured LSG of a top-two finish.

Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals faced off in the latest IPL 2022 match, with Sanju Samson and his men emerging victorious to take the lead in the points table with a higher NRR. Winning the game would have given Lucknow 18 points and assured them of a top-two finish, but a poor batting performance allowed RR to win by 24 runs. In the same vein, skipper KL Rahul revealed that they are currently under pressure and must remain alert for the next game.

It is now clear that who will finish second, RR or LSG, will be determined by their final league game. Rahul stated that everything in this competition must be earned and that nothing comes easily. If they had given their all against RR, they could have easily enjoyed their final game while avoiding the pressure of winning.

“I won’t lie, there is some pressure. We’ve all learned the hard way that nothing in this competition comes easily, and no point comes easily. “We could have easily qualified today and gone into the last game with a free mindset and tried to enjoy our cricket,” KL Rahul said in the post-match press conference.

“However, we are in a position where we must win the next game.” “I think it’s good because we all know that every game is important, that every game brings its own set of pressures and challenges, and it’s another game for us to challenge ourselves as a team and try to win that game and carry that momentum forward and get some confidence out of the next game,” he added.

In the game between RR and LSG, Rajasthan posted a challenging score of 178 runs on the board, and Lucknow fell 24 runs short of the target due to a complete top-order failure.
