ICC men’s ODI rankings: Kohli holds 2nd spot in ICC batting rankings, Rohit remains at 3rd
On the back of his solid execution within the fair concluded South Africa arrangement; India’s Virat Kohli retained his moment put within the ICC men’s ODI batting rankings. Kohli made 116 runs within the three-match ODI arrangement against the Proteas; counting two half-centuries, after venturing down as India’s Test captain after the absent arrangement against South Africa.

Rassie van der Dussen of South Africa got into the top ten; after a superb performance in the series against India. With 750 rating points, he moved up ten places to number ten; while teammate Quinton de Kock, who made a century in the series against India, moved up four places to fifth.
With 229 and 218 runs respectively, De Kock and van der Dussen topped the ODI run rankings; with both batsmen scoring hundreds in the series.
De Kock averaged 76.33, while van der Dussen scored 218 runs; and their efforts were reflected in the most recent ICC One-Day International rankings.
Captain Temba Bavuma, the third centurion in the arrangement against India, climbed 21 places to 59th rank. In three matches, Bavuma scored 153 runs at an average of 51. Both Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj made advancement in the bowling rankings. After collecting five wickets at 31.40, Ngidi advanced four places to No. 20. In the meantime, India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who had a regular ODI contract, dropped four spots to number 22.

Maharaj rose 18 places to No. 33 after expelling Kohli twice within the ODI arrangement and inspiring with his economy rate. Apart from that, there wasn’t much change among the top ten.
