Cameron Boyce provided the much-needed breakthrough by breaking Hales and Khawaja’s opening stand; with the Englishman Hales holding out to deep mid-off.
After that, Boyce went on a tear, catching Jason Sangha out of his crease with a wonderful; flighted ball and winning two lbws in a row.
Boyce was able to run out Ben Cutting with his fingertips off his claim bowling; demonstrating that anything he touched turned to gold.
The 32-year-old too made BBL history by being the primary bowler to seize four wickets in four balls.

At the passing, Zak Evans and Josh Lalor each took one wicket to assist the Thunder compile an 8-170 total. The Rebels at that point ought to work with the bat; with Aaron Finch proceeding his fabulous frame by impacting 82 runs off 64 balls.
