Betis leads Rayo in the Copa semifinals thanks to a goal from William Carvalho.

On Wednesday, Betis defeated Rayo Vallecano 2-1 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals; putting the Sevilla club in contention to reach the final for the first time since 2005.
