The incident occur on the fourth ball of the 19th over, when the West Indies batter pulled a short delivery from Topley onto the roof of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Pooran followed up his onslaught on Topley by smashing Mohammed Siraj for back-to-back sixes in the final over. Pooran’s hitting helped LSG score 33 runs off the last two overs, pushing their total past 180.
Earlier, De Kock and KL Rahul (20 off 14) got their team off to a good start, scoring 53 runs for the first wicket off 33 balls. Following Rahul’s dismissal, his opening partner continued his mayhem, contributing to another crucial stand of 56 (30) with Marcus Stoinis (24 off 15).
