Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu’s captain, R Sai Kishore, delivered an impressive six-wicket haul. Mumbai’s bowlers then delivered another outstanding performance in the third innings, limiting Tamil Nadu to only 162 runs and securing a commanding victory by a large margin.

Mumbai beat Saurashtra at Wankhede in the Ranji Trophy 2012-13 final

Mumbai demonstrated dominance at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai when they faced Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy 2012-13 final. Former Indian pacer Ajit Agarkar led the Mumbai team, which included Sachin Tendulkar, Wasim Jaffer, Abhishek Nayar, and Dhawal Kulkarni.

Mumbai delivered an authoritative performance in the final, restricting Saurashtra to 148 and 82 in two innings. Despite Tendulkar’s dismissal for 22, Jaffer’s magnificent ton propelled Mumbai to 355, securing the victory by an innings and 125 runs. Kulkarni stood out as the match’s best bowler, taking nine wickets, including a fifer in the second innings. Skipper Agarkar contributed a five-wicket haul during the match.
