Kyle Jamieson, a New Zealand cricketer, may be rule out of international cricket for several months due to an anticipated back surgery, which may jeopardize his career in cricket.
Kyle Jamieson was set to make his international debut in the present home Test series against England. However a sudden recurrence of a significant discomfort in his back prompted management to decide to withhold from allowing Jamieson to participate in the first Test, so as not to worsen his ailment any more.

Kyle Jamieson had a back stress fracture in June 2022
The 28-year-condition old’s reveal in June 2022, when he sustained a catastrophic stress fracture during New Zealand’s trip to England. He rule out of cricket for several months until it was decide that he could only play in the first Test against a visiting England this time.
Unfortunately, Jamieson complained of back pain, and scans revealed a recurrence of the stress fracture. Leading to the conclusion that the 6ft 8inch tall pacemaker hadn’t fully recovered and required emergent surgery.
“He’s visited a specialist and will have back surgery later this week,” New Zealand head coach Gary Stead said. Jamieson has been a major bowler for the Kiwis for many years, according to the 51-year-old. His unexpected departure from cricket will undoubtedly limit New Zealand’s options for bowlers within the team.
From Jamieson’s perspective, the lanky bowler has been out of action, and with him having to have back surgery, he will be sidelined for at least another few months, putting his cricket future in jeopardy. Gary Stead added that management will constantly maintain track of Jamieson’s development following his operation.
