“Some bravehearts live forever,” the cricket community says in remembrance of the victims of the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman lead the community in paying respect to the victims on the 14th anniversary of the terror attack.
The terrorist events on 26/11 in Mumbai are still recent memories. It was one of history’s bloodiest attacks. 14 years have passed since the horrific terrorist attack that shook India, yet many members of the martyrs’ families are still in pain. In the attack carried out by ten members of Lashkar-e-Taiba. A militant terrorist group operating out of Pakistan. 166 people murder and more than 300 are injury.
The attack started on November 26 in the evening at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus when two shooters opened fire. In Mumbai, the attack occurred over the course of more than three days at eight distinct places. In the early hours of November 29, 2008, India’s National Security Guards surrounded the prestigious Taj Hotel and put an end to the attacks by eliminating the remaining offenders.
The attack’s aftermath was unthinkable since it took months to restore order. 14 years later, people still remember the heroes who put the lives of hundreds of innocent people ahead of their own. One will always remember that day since they gave their lives in service to the country.
Former and current Indian cricket players paid respect to the brave servicemen who continue to be the reason why the survivors are still referred to as “survivors” and honor the martyrs who lost their life.

Indian cricket players honor “heroes”
Former India captain Sachin Tendulkar, who was born in Mumbai. The NCA’s head of cricket, VVS Laxman, also paid respect by posting images of each of the 18 victims who lost their lives in the incident. “Some courageous people are immortal. We will never forget the sacrifice made by all the courageous warriors who gave their life while defending the nation. Thank you to all who sacrificed during the 26/11 #MumbaiTerrorAttack “According to Laxman’s Tweet.
Mohammed Siraj, the star pacer for India, also tweeted, “Prayers to the families who lost their loved ones. always in prayers. Wasim Jaffer and Harbhajan Singh, two former cricket players, posted pictures of martyrs with tribute messages, and Amit Mishra posted a picture of the Taj Hotel with the words “Never Forgive, Never Forget.”
