IPL 2022 Updated Points Table: Orange Cap and Purple Cap List Taking after KKR vs MI Match 14
On Wednesday, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by five wickets at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune in Match 14 of the ongoing IPL 2022 season. Pat Cummins’ undefeated 56 runs off 15 balls helped KKR chase down a 162-run mark in in 16 overs.
Cummins also made the joint-fastest fifty in IPL history, scoring in 14 balls. KKR bowled MI out for 161 in 20 overs, with Cummins picking up two wickets in four overs.

With six points from four games, KKR leads the rankings. Rajasthan Royals (RR) are in second place, Gujarat Titans (GT) are in third place, and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are in fourth place.

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are in fifth place, with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) sixth, Delhi Capitals (DC) seventh, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) eighth, MI ninth, and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) last.
Race for the Orange Cap
Jos Buttler leads the way with 205 runs in three games. Ishan Kishan (149) is in second place, followed by Faf du Plessis (122) in third, Tilak Varma (121) in fourth, and Deepak Hooda (119) in fifth.

Race for the Purple Cap
Umesh Yadav has the most dismissals with nine. Yuzvendra Chahal (7) is in second place, followed by Avesh Khan (7), Rahul Chahar (6), and Wanindu Hasaranga (6).
