Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS chairman, said on Sunday that he had gone to visit former; President Pranab Mukherjee with a lot of preparation on the ‘ghar wapsi’ issue in order to invite him; as the principal guest for the Sangh’s program in Nagpur in 2018. There was commotion in Parliament at the moment over the issue of ‘ghar wapsi’ (converts’ homecoming); and Bhagwat indicate he is preparing to address whatever questions Mukherjee had during the meeting.

He is presenting at a lecture series organized by Lokmat Media Group; to commemorate the golden jubilee of its Lokmat Nagpur edition on the topic of “Hindutva and National Integration.” Planning on the ‘ghar wapsi’ topic, I went to invite Pranab Mukherjee; to an RSS event: Mohan Bhagwat is an Indian politician.

When Bhagwat went to visit Mukherjee, he stated there was no need to offer him answers because; the latter told him that “30% of the country’s communities; would cut off from the nation if you (RSS) are not finish ghar wapsi work.”

Mukherjee went on to add that America was lecturing us on secularism; whereas India’s Constitution was the most secular in the world, according to the RSS chief.

According to Bhagwat, those who drafted the Constitution were secular; but they were not the first, as the country’s 5,000-year-old tradition and culture were secular as well.

On June 7, 2018, Mukherjee, who served as President from 2012 to 2017, attended an RSS function in Nagpur.
