To Run Ben McDermott Out, Pakistani Star Recovers From Misfield The hosts showed excellent agility and athleticism to dismiss Australia in the first One-Day International at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. After opening bowlers Aaron Finch and also Travis Head put up 100 runs in 15 overs, Australia got off to a flying start. Pakistan, on the other hand, roared back into the game after taking three wickets in quick succession, and Mohammad Wasim Jr’s agility assisted in inflicting a run-out, forcing Ben McDermott to return to the pavilion. He dove and knock the ball away, but he got up and recover to drive the ball back on the bounce to wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, who broke the stumps. McDermott gets caught off guard by Mohammad Wasim’s athleticism. Pakistan won the toss in the first ODI and elected to bowl first.
