Iyer’s bowling offers him a “edge,” according to Jaffer, and makes him a “genuine competitor now.” “As a number six batter, I’m shocked at how well he’s doing. We’ve seen him as a starter, but for him to come out and adapt; so effectively to the number six position and finish games is incredible.
