Jhulan Goswami is the first female bowler to reach this milestone in one-day internationals. Jhulan Goswami, a veteran Indian pacer, became the first woman to take 250 wickets in women’s One-Day Internationals on Wednesday. Goswami achieved the feat when bowling against England in a group phase match; of the ICC Women’s World Cup at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui; where she was playing in her 199th ODI match. To attain the milestone, Jhulan defeated England’s Tammy Beaumonth. In women’s ODI matches, the India veteran has already taken the most wickets.
