Inter Milan beat Roma 2-0 in the Coppa Italia, ruining Mourinho’s return to San Siro.

Mourinho faced Inter for the first time at San Siro since leaving the club after leading them; to the Serie A-Italian Cup-Champions League treble in 2010.
Mourinho was greeted warmly by the fans, who held a banner that read; “Welcome back home, Jose.” The players from Roma, on the other hand, did not enjoy the same warm welcome. Inter got out to a flying start, scoring on its first play. In his first match against his previous club, Dzeko connected with Ivan Perisic’s cross; from the edge of the box and also past Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio with a right-footed volley after only two minutes.
As the game went, Roma’s lethargic defense appeared more sturdy; but Mourinho’s team was too awkward up front and failed to convert its few chances against the Serie A leader.
