For me, it is a big contribution to my team and myself: Reddy
Furthermore, the man of the moment, Nitish Kumar Reddy, took center stage and discussed his performance against Punjab. The 20-year-old youngster expressed his delight at contributing to a victory, revealing that he intended to target the spinner while remaining cautious with the pacers.
“For me, it is a significant contribution to my team and myself. I have been telling myself that I need to believe in myself and be there for the team. I didn’t want to bowl against the seamers because they were bowling well. When the spinners came on, I wanted to attack them, so that’s what I did,” Reddy explained.
The win over Punjab was Hyderabad’s third of the season. With six points from five matches, SRH remained fifth in the IPL points table, while Punjab Kings are sixth.
