India and LSG wrist spinner Ravi Bishnoi made a sensational catch to dismiss Gujarat Titans’ Kane Williamson during Match 21 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) on Sunday, April 7, in Lucknow. When it came time for Bishnoi to bowl his first over, he struck for his team on the second ball.
The 23-year-old bowled a flighted delivery outside off stump that Williamson failed to maintain on the ground and chipped into the air. Bishnoi, who was in his follow-through, jumped to his right and deliver a one-hand stunner to knock out the GT batter. Everyone in the crowd astounded by the wrist-spinner’s athleticism as he performed his characteristic celebration after taking the wicket.

Yash Thakur picks first fifer of his IPL career
Returning to the match, LSG scored a respectable 163/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Thanks to a half-century from Marcus Stoinis and crucial contributions from Nicholas Pooran (32 off 22) and KL Rahul.
In response, GT got off to a good start in the powerplay. Their openers scoring 54 runs for the first wicket off 36 balls. However, they lost their way in the middle overs and were eventually bundle out for 130. Yash Thakur starring with the ball by picking a fifer and Krunal Pandya taking 3/11 in his four overs. Bishnoi, on the other hand, scored 1/8 off two overs.
