Suryakumar Yadav named captain of India’s T20I series against Australia. The flashy hitter has done admirably thus far, leading his team to a 2-0 lead with three games remaining.
During the first two games in Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram, Suryakumar garnered accolades from cricket pundits for several of his field setups and bowling alterations. Prasidh Krishna, an Indian pacer, had a slow start to the series but came back strongly in the second game. After the game, the Karnataka cricketer commended Suryakumar’s captaincy, saying that his leadership approach is comparable to his batting style.
“I think it shows in the way he (Suryakumar) bats and also in his captaincy. ” “He trusts his players, supports all of us in doing what we want to do. He’s right behind us to help if anything goes wrong. ” Krishna cited as saying by India Today.
“That’s been the name of the game and then that’s the word around freedom, go and execute your plans out there and everyone trusts each other in the team.”

Being a part of the World Cup squad was massive learning for me: Prasidh Krishna

“Being a part of the World Cup squad was a huge learning experience for me. ” That’s the most difficult learning curve I’ve encountered since joining the team. “I got to learn a lot about how people prepare the amount of information that you can take, looking at the surface, the situation, the condition, the batsman, and all of those things,” Krishna said after picking up three wickets in India’s second T20I against Australia at the Greenfield Stadium.
India produced 235/4 in 20 overs after being called in to bat first, due to fifties from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Ishan Kishan, as well as a whirlwind cameo from Rinku Singh. In response, Australia lost wickets at regular intervals, and despite some pyrotechnics from Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, and Matthew Wade, the tourists were defeated by 44 runs, giving India a dominating 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
