Aakash Chopra hails Suryakumar Yadav’s dominance in shortest format. “His approach is completely different. He is unstoppable. Why does that happen? It happens because his DNA has been set that way now. ” Aakash Chopra said.
The Indian squad is off to a fantastic start in their five-match Twenty20 International series against Australia. On Thursday, November 24, both teams met in Vizag for the first T20I, chasing a goal of 209 runs in a game that lasted till the conclusion.
Suryakumar Yadav, India’s captain, was one of the most significant players throughout the run chase. Suryakumar ensured that India pursued the goal and won the opening T20I of the series by scoring 80 runs in 42 deliveries.
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra was quite impressed with his performance. Suryakumar Yadav is a different player in T20 cricket, according to some, and he is unstoppable in the format.
“Suryakumar Yadav appears to be a completely different player in T20s.” His method is very different. He is invincible. What causes this? It happens because his DNA has been programmed to do so. He believes he knows the needs of this format and can carry out his ideas in accordance with the circumstances. “Even his opponents are wary of his exploits. It shows in the field placements they introduce,” Aakash Chopra stated while hosting JioCinema’s daily sports show, ‘#AAKASHVANI.’
“In my opinion, it is not necessary for players to be on teams in all three versions of the game. Surya has the potential to be a T20 cricketer. It’s OK if he’s left alone for the next six months to concentrate on T20 cricket. “I hope we don’t end up losing a T20 superstar just because we want him to be a part of the team in all three formats,” he said.
