It was great journey with Mumbai Indians but going to CSK was even more special: Ambati Rayudu. When asked about his time with CSK, Rayudu stated that while being with Mumbai was amazing, playing for CSK was much more so.
Ambati Rayudu, a former Indian cricketer and IPL-winning player for CSK and Mumbai. Spoke extensively about his IPL and international career in a recent podcast interview. Shedding light on numerous facets of his personal and professional life.
When questioned about his IPL career highlights, he stated that playing in diverse circumstances and batting positions was a huge accomplishment for him, and he regarded himself to be very versatile.
“I recall myself as being very adaptable in a team setting. ” I’d bat first as well as in the middle and lower middle orders. “That is one aspect of my career in which I take a lot of pride, contributing to the team. ” He stated on The Ranveer Show, a YouTube podcast.
When asked if he regretted leaving Mumbai Indians for Chennai Super Kings. He said that playing for Mumbai was a great experience. It was a difficult choice for him to leave them, given that he began his IPL career with them, spent eight years with them, won three IPL titles, and claimed two Champions League trophies. He revealed his feelings about his experience in Mumbai.
“Of course, I played for them for eight years.” My IPL career began in Mumbai. We won three IPLs and two Champions League titles throughout our incredible trip. “We had a lot of fun,” he remarked.

It was very weird to sit in another dressing room: Rayudu
When asked about his time with CSK, he said that while playing for Mumbai was special, coming to CSK was much more so. Rayudu admitted that he felt strange under the CSK shirt at first because his first game for them was against the Mumbai Indians. It was unusual for him at first to switch from blue to yellow pads and play against his previous squad. He did, however, adjust to the CSK atmosphere over time.
“Going to CSK was even more special, but it was strange to sit in a different dressing room, put on yellow pads instead of blue, and face Mumbai, who was practicing just two wickets away.” It was like a mental flashback, reliving what we used to do on a daily basis. “I got used to being in CSK from then on,” he remarked.
When asked about his international career, he expressed his unhappiness with its termination as well as his treatment by team management. Rayudu stated that the team management believed he lacked confidence because of his calm and quiet demeanor.
