Rohit Sharma often praises Tilak Varma: Abhishek Nayar. Tilak Varma has appeared in 10 T20I matches, scoring 231 runs with a strike rate of 142.59.
Tilak Varma, a youngster, has been amazing in the little opportunities he has had thus far. After establishing himself on the local circuit, the 21-year-old was signed by the Mumbai Indians for the IPL, where he has amassed 740 runs in just 25 matches. Tilak made it into the national team and is currently a member of the T20I squad because to his consistency and match-winning performances with the bat.
Former cricketer Abhishek Nayar commended Tilak’s leadership qualities as well as his development as a three-dimensional player. He stated that India captain Rohit Sharma recognized this and frequently compliments him on it.

Nayar also described him as a courageous cricketer and feels that the child would be an asset to Indian cricket in the future.
“Tilak contributes two aspects of his game to the squad. Yes, fielding is vital, and he can bowl, but when I say two dimensions. What I truly mean is his batting and leadership abilities. ” Nayar quoted as saying to Jio Cinema.
“You can always see Tilak Varma’s fearlessness.” He is a young player, but according to what I have heard, Rohit Sharma is a fantastic cricketing intellect. Because he makes solid ideas to Rohit when he plays for MI. That aspect of Tilak would be beneficial to Indian cricket,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, with several experienced cricketers out from the forthcoming five-match T20I series against Australia, Tilak will play a vital role. He would most likely bat at number three and act as an anchor, similar to how Virat Kohli does. Notably, in 10 T20I matches, he has scored 231 runs at a strike rate of 142.59. He was excellent in his first series against the West Indies. His form fell against Ireland, and he struggled with the bat at the Asian Games.
