Bengaluru, 20 August 2023: The Mysuru Warriors defeated the Hubli Tigers by six wickets. Seven balls remaining in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, handing them their first defeat. Karun Nair (41 off 25 balls), Ravikumar Samarth (73 off 42 balls). CA Karthik (4/50 and 29) all contributed significantly to the Mysuru Warriors’ fourth straight triumph in the competition. Despite a magnificent first-inning century from Luvnith Sisodia (105 runs off 63 balls) and a 3/38 bowling performance from Praveen Dubey, the Hubli Tigers were unable to extend their winning streak.

Praveen Dubey quickly removed Karun Nair and KS Lankesh (0), while Manish Pandey, the Hubli captain, executed a brilliant run out to dismiss Samarth.
The combination of Shoaib Manager (21) and Shivkumar Rakshith (22) guaranteed that the Mysuru Warriors reached the mark in 18.5 overs with six wickets in hand, ending the Hubli Tigers’ tournament-long unbeaten streak. The Mysuru Warriors needed 42 runs off the final five overs.
