PCB announce new technical committee. The new committee would report directly to chairman Zaka Ashraf.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has formed a new technical committee that would work directly with Chairman Zaka Ashraf to handle cricket-related matters. Notably, former cricketer Misbah-ul-Haq will chair this new group, which also includes former colleagues Inzaham-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez.
Surprisingly, the committee will wield considerable influence and will also determine the structure of domestic cricket in Pakistan. They will also play an active part in enhancing the playing conditions and infrastructure. As well as having the authority to designate new selection committees, coaching staff, and other high-profile roles traditionally perform by the chairman.
“The CTC will make recommendations on cricket-related issues such as the overall domestic structure. Scheduling, playing conditions, the appointment of national selection committees. The appointment of national team coaches, central and domestic contracts. Plans for the development of umpires, referees, and curators. ” The CTC will have the authority to invite other cricket specialists and will report to the head of the PCB Management Committee on a regular basis, according to a PCB statement.

Ashraf welcomes new appointments to the PCB technical set-up
Chairman Zaka Ashraf welcomed Misbah, Inzamam, and Hafeez to the PCB and expressed his satisfaction at their inclusion. He described how their participation will benefit Pakistan cricket and indicated their key role as committee members.
“I am thrilled to have Misbah-ul-Haq, Inzamam-ul-Haq, and Mohammad Hafeez on board to help improve cricket in our country.” These three previous captains have extensive cricket knowledge and are well-versed in the demands of modern-day cricket.
“The domestic cricket structure is the foundation of any cricketing nation.” We must make it failsafe and advanced in structure. Misbah, Inzamam, and Hafeez, three of Pakistan’s most seasoned and distinguished cricketers who rose through the domestic ranks, will help us provide our cricketers with the finest system to grow so that we can develop the best cricketers,” Ashraf said.
