At the Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunelveli on Wednesday, July 12, Lyca Kovai Kings defeated Nellai Royal Kings by a score of 104 runs to win the Tamil Nadu Premier League championship for the second time in a row. Lyca Kovai Kings posted a massive score of 205/5 after skipper Shahrukh Khan chose to bat first and won the toss. This was made possible by half-centuries from Suresh Kumar (57 off 33), U Mukilesh (51* off 40), and Atheeq Ur Rahman (50 off 21).
In response, Shahrukh Khan took 3/16 in four overs and Jhatavedh Subramanyan took 4/21 in four overs as Nellai Royal Kings were bowled out for just 101 in 15 overs. Thus, Lyca Kovai Kings won the sixth Tami Nadu Premier League and secure their second straight championship. Notably, Lyca and Chepauk Super Gillies were name equal winners of the 2022 competition when the final rain out.

TNPL final Player of the Match
The Player of the Match award went to Jhatavedh Subramanyan for his outstanding 4/21 in four overs. Laxmesha Suryaprakash, Rithik Easwaran, Sonu Yadav. Moreover, NS Harish were among the victims he dismiss. With 11 victories from nine matches, an average of 19.72, and an economy of 6.57, he finished the tournament.
Purple Cap
Shahrukh Khan, the captain of the Lyca Kovai Kings, received the Purple Cap for ending the season with the most wickets, 17, at an average of 10.58.
Orange Cap
The Orange Cap given to Guruswamy Ajitesh of the Nellai Royal Kings for finishing the season with the most runs scored (385 from ten games at an average of 64.16 and a strike rate of 163.13). In the entire season, he hit 103 fifty-sixes.
Player of the Tournament
In recognition of his bat skills, Guruswamy Ajitesh also receive the Player of the Tournament title.
