Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami quickly ran through England’s top order as a result of the choice.

Following strikes of 21, 15, and 14 from David Willey, Moeen Ali, and Brydon Carse, England’s score fell to a pitiful 110.

With the ball, Bumrah was India’s premier dismantler, returning career-best figures of 6/19 from his 7.2 overs.

In addition to Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Shami also claimed three wickets.

India easily won the chase after Rohit Sharma smashed 76 off just 58 deliveries.

India took a 1-0 series lead after chasing down the target in just 18.2 overs.
