Ex-USA Cricket employees accuse the board of racial discrimination. Kirk Greaves, a former USA Cricket employee, has sought restitution for his discriminatory treatment.
Racial discrimination has emerged as one of the world’s most pressing issues. With many boards taking steps to eliminate it wherever possible. A number of former cricketers who have suffered from mental stress as a result of the incidents have now begun to speak out. The boards have also begun to investigate the cases. However, an ex-contract employee, Kirk Greaves, has filed a lawsuit against USA Cricket in a federal court for ‘racial discrimination acts’ committed during his tenure, seeking USD 2 million in damages.
Greaves began working on a four-month probationary period. After being hired as the Operations Manager (contract) for USA Cricket last year. His case filing, he claims a “toxic work environment. Unfair employment practices, wage disparity, and discrimination. ” He also claims that “funds set aside for his full-time conversion were use to increase an offer for a white employee. “

Meanwhile, a USA spokesperson stated that they were aware of the case and that Greaves’ contract would not renew. He stated that Greaves’ allegations are false in the absence of proper evidence and that USA Cricket is preparing a strong defense against the case. He concluded that their lawyers would handle the situation and hoped to have the case dismissed soon.
“USA Cricket is aware of various details of a lawsuit file against USA Cricket by a former contractor. ” The individual is one of several contractors previously employ by USA Cricket whose contracts were recently terminate. “All allegations in the lawsuit are completely false and without merit, and USA Cricket denies and will vigorously defend against them,” a USA Cricket spokesperson told Cricbuzz.
“The case is now in the hands of USA Cricket’s lawyers. ” We anticipate that the case will be dismissed in due course and will make no further comment at this time. ” the spokesperson added.
