Kagiso Rabada lauded rookie fast bowler Arshdeep Singh as the “greatest death bowler” thus far this season in the IPL 2022.
Mayank Agarwal’s Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 11 runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday, claiming two crucial centers in the process. PBKS moved up to sixth place in the IPL 2022 centers table after winning four of their eight games.
Both teams put in outstanding efforts with the bat and the ball in the middle of the field. Shikhar Dhawan, who was playing in his 200th IPL match, hit 88 runs, but Ambati Rayudu surprised the crowd with a 78-run knock. For their respective foundations, Dwayne Bravo, Kagiso Rabada, and Rishi Dhawan each took two wickets.
Arshdeep Singh, on the other hand, went unnoticed, returning with figures of 1/23 in his four overs. The left-arm bowler took the important wicket of Mitchell Santner early on and then bowled an economical exhibition of fast bowling to keep the CSK hitters at bay.

Rabada praised Arshdeep as the “best death bowler” in the IPL 2022 season thus far, citing the bowler’s miserly economy.
Rabada remarked after PBKS’ victory over CSK: “Arsh has been the best death bowler in this competition, in my opinion. That’s what the numbers show.”
Despite the fact that Arshdeep has only taken three wickets in IPL 2022 (three in eight games), the bowler has impressed by keeping the scoring rate low in the final overs. He has a decent 5.66 economy rate in passing overs in IPL 2022 and has been one of Mayank Agarwal’s go-to men this season.
