After Ashton Agar’s positive result on the last Covid test; Australia is down to picking 11 players out of a total of 13 for the ODI series against Pakistan.

AUSTRALIA TOUR OF PAKISTAN2022: Covid is detected in Ashton Agar. The visitors are already fielding an untested lineup, with a slew of prominent players missing the white-ball portion of the historic trip, including Pat Cummins, David Warner, Josh Hazlewood, Glenn Maxwell, and Steve Smith.

Agar’s result, which came just hours before the start of the first one-dayer in Lahore; follows Josh Inglis’ Covid positive status. The duo will now rest and will also be unavailable for the ODI series’ second; and third games, which will be contested in Lahore on March 31 and April 2, respectively.

After damaging his hip-flexor at training on Sunday, Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh; has been rule out of today’s game and remains an improbable starter for the rest of the series.
