AUSTRALIA TOUR OF PAKISTAN2022: Covid is detected in Ashton Agar.
After Ashton Agar’s positive result on the last Covid test; Australia is down to picking 11 players out of a total of 13 for the ODI series against Pakistan.
Agar’s result, which came just hours before the start of the first one-dayer in Lahore; follows Josh Inglis’ Covid positive status. The duo will now rest and will also be unavailable for the ODI series’ second; and third games, which will be contested in Lahore on March 31 and April 2, respectively.
After damaging his hip-flexor at training on Sunday, Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh; has been rule out of today’s game and remains an improbable starter for the rest of the series.

The visitors are already fielding an untested lineup, with a slew of prominent players missing the white-ball portion of the historic trip, including Pat Cummins, David Warner, Josh Hazlewood, Glenn Maxwell, and also Steve Smith.
