League says Barcelona has $157 million over budget, according to the association.
Barcelona’s spending power has been curtailed once more, with the club expected to spend; more more 144 million euros ($157 million) in the next transfer window, according to the Spanish league.

Barcelona added Ferran Torres, Dani Alves, Adama Traoré, and Pierro-Emerick Aubameyang; during the winter transfer window after failing to keep Lionel Messi in the squad; at the end of last season due to a spending cap.
Joan Laporta, the club’s president, refinanced the club’s debt and tried to cut salaries; by approximately 200 million euros ($219 million). Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba are among the players whose wages have lately been lowered.

Barcelona was one of the clubs who denied to take part within the league’s contract with private value firm; CVC to improve the clubs’ funds, claiming that it would be hindering to the Catalan club within the long run.
