KL Rahul contributes to OTO’s fresh $10 million campaign. OTO raised $10 million from cricketer KL Rahul and other significant partners.
OTO, an emerging digital commerce enterprise. Announce on Tuesday (February 6) that they successfully secure a large investment of USD $10 million (INR 83 crore approx) from a prominent investor in the form of star India batter KL Rahul. Notably, the new move started by GMO Venture Partners, along with current investors Matrix Partners, 9Unicorn Funds, and Prime Venture Partners. Turbostart is also participating in the fundraising, as are other of OTO’s family offices.
The new money was provided with the goal of expanding the company’s existing partnerships and presence to more than 30 cities. Furthermore, the funds raised will enable OTO make a smooth transition to the electric car category. As a result, OTO will be able to consolidate its existing agreements.
“OTO recently announced a $10 million fundraising round. The latest financing will strategically expand OTO’s presence to over 30 locations. Help the shift to electric vehicles, and strengthen existing collaborations. ” The business state in a statement to Deccan Herald.

KL Rahul is nursing an injury and is uncertain to return for the third Test against England.
Notably, KL Rahul adapted easily to his middle-order batter role during India’s first Test against England. In the inaugural match in Hyderabad, the Karnataka-based hitter scored 86 runs in India’s first innings. Rahul did got a start (22 runs) in the second innings but was unable to convert it into a major knock that may have placed Team India in the lead.
As a result, Team India lost the game in a nail-biting finish, and the hosts suffered their historic first defeat in Hyderabad by 28 runs. KL Rahul is now undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. Notably, the top batsman complained of soreness in his right quadriceps and forced out of the Vizag Test. Sarfaraz Khan and Sourabh Kumar were then call up to India’s Test squad after another star, Ravindra Jadeja, injured. It remains unclear whether Rahul will be able to recover in time for the third Test, which will be contested in Raipur.
