Samit Dravid, the son of India’s head coach Rahul Dravid, delivered a spectacular performance for Karnataka in a recent Cooch Behar Trophy match against Jammu & Kashmir, scoring 98 runs. With 13 fours and a well-struck six, the young Dravid contributed greatly to Karnataka’s overwhelming victory by an innings and 130 runs.
Batting at No. 5, Samit produced an impressive combination with Karthikeya KP, collecting 233 runs for the fourth wicket. Karnataka also declared their first innings at 480 for five in 100 overs, an unbeatable total for J&K.
