India will host Afghanistan for a three-match Twenty20 International series. From January 11 to 17, India will play Afghanistan in a three-match T20 series.
After a heartbreaking ODI World Cup 2023 campaign, Team India will turn their attention to the future tasks. The Men in Blue will face Afghanistan in a three-match T20Is, it was confirmed.
This will be India’s first limited-overs series against Afghanistan, and the three-game series will take place in January 2024. The T20I series will play at Mohali, Indore, and Bengaluru, in that sequence, from January 11 to January 17.
Outside of the ICC and ACC events, India and Afghanistan have never played white-ball cricket against one other. In 2018, both teams faced battle in a one-off test match.
The Indian squad will have various foreign assignments following their World Cup performance. The team will face Australia in a five-match Twenty20 International series beginning on November 23.

India look to recoup after World Cup heartbreak
After their sorrow in the just finished ODI World Cup 2023, the Indian squad would be anxious to earn some victories on the board. India hosted the renowned event and was undefeated throughout the group rounds.
