Pakistan is looking for a venue swap for the matches against Afghanistan and Australia.

Pakistan is attempting to shift venues for their ODI World Cup matches against Afghanistan and Australia. Which are slate to take place in October and November in India.

Pakistan will face Afghanistan at the spin-friendly MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, and Australia at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, according to the suggested schedule. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has stated a desire to play Australia rather than Afghanistan in Chennai.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has proposed that Pakistan play India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, Pakistan has yet to approve the idea, citing the necessity for official approval.

Pakistan analysts are evaluating venue data and express some reservations

Some believe that India purposely scheduled matches at places where Pakistan could have problems with pitch conditions and practice facilities, among other things.

The ground in Chennai frequently favors spinners, which will be a test for Pakistan against Afghanistan, which currently has a strong spin attack. Notably, Pakistan has asked for their matches against Australia and Afghanistan to be relocate to Chennai and Bengaluru, respectively.

According to the suggested schedule, Pakistan’s first two qualifying matches would be place in Hyderabad on October 6 and 12. Meanwhile, the match against India is schedule for October 15 before the encounter versus Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru.

Pakistan’s matches against Afghanistan and South Africa are set to take place in Chennai on October 23 and 27, respectively. They will play Bangladesh on October 31 in Kolkata and New Zealand on November 5 in Bengaluru before their last group match against England on November 12 in Kolkata.
