Mark Chapman was named Player of the Series for his outstanding batting performances during the five-match series against Pakistan.
Due to his great batting form. Mark Chapman have been added to New Zealand’s ODI side for the five-match series against Pakistan. Notably, the Kiwi all-rounder smashed a century in the fifth and final Twenty20 International in Rawalpindi. Helping the visitors overcome Pakistan by six wickets. The 28-year-old scored 290 runs in five matches, winning him Player of the Series accolades.
Notably, Chapman’s performance in the T20I series wowed New Zealand head coach Gary Stead. He described it as “outstanding,” and he also commented on the inclusion of the all-rounder in the ODI squad.
“The way Mark’s played against one of the best T20 bowling attacks in the world has been nothing short of outstanding. His match-winning knock in the fifth and deciding match was particularly special and we’re happy to have someone in such strong form added to our ODI squad,”
