Australia will not win a Test against India, according to Dodda Ganesh. The first Test is schedule to start on February 9 in Nagpur.

Despite the fact that certain major players will miss the first two Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, former India international Dodda Ganesh believes Rohit Sharma and company will win the four-match series. The Pat Cummins-led side, according to the 49-year-old, has little chance against India and will not win a single match in the next series.

“I understand optimism, but to assume Australia will win the series in India is a bit absurd. The Australians have little chance against India’s spin trio. They’re not going to win a Test. “The only thing that has to be settled is whether India wins 3-0 or 4-0,” Ganesh tweeted on Monday.

Australia is Jayawardene selection to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy

Former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene thinks Australia will win the forthcoming Test series against India. He believes the Australian hitters can handle the Indian bowlers and believes the Pat Cummins-led team has a dangerous bowling unit that will finally put India under strain.

“I believe it will always be a terrific series. I’m thinking about Indian conditions and how the Australian batters handle them, since they have a pretty excellent bowling unit, and how the Indian batsmen handle it. It all hinges on how each side begins the series and who has the momentum. But it will be intriguing,” remarked Mahela Jayawardene in the most recent issue of the ICC Review.

“It’s difficult to predict, but being a Sri Lankan, I’m hoping that Australia can go all the way. Probably a 2-1 win for Australia, but it’s going to be a tough one,” he added.
