Warner, Starc, Marsh, and Stoinis are all back for the West Indies’ T20Is. David Warner, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Starc, and Mitchell Marsh were absent from the just ended T20I series in India. Warner was resting, while Starc, Stoinis, and Marsh were out with knee, side strain, and ankle injuries, respectively.

The four players will be part of Australia’s 16-man squad for the two T20I series against the West Indies.
Cameron Green, an all-rounder who got a pair of quick-fire fifties in India, has also been included to the team. Meanwhile, Ashton Agar, a left-arm spinner, and Kane Richardson, a fast bowler, have been rested.
“We have and are adopting a careful approach with the World Cup on the horizon,” stated National Selection Panel Chair George Bailey.
With four key players returning, we can take a prudent approach to any small difficulties and fix them in time for the World Cup. As a result, we expect Kane and Ashton to return for the next series against England.”
Following the two T20Is against the West Indies on October 5 and 7 at the Carrara Oval and the Gabba, Australia will play England in a three-match T20I series in Perth and Canberra. Australia will also play a practice match at the Gabba on October 17 before the start of their T20 World Cup campaign.
