Jasprit Bumrah Receives the Highest Praise From Sachin Tendulkar. In the first One-Day International against England, Jasprit Bumrah displayed sensational bowling.
In the first ODI on Tuesday at the Kennington Oval, Jasprit Bumrah bowled brilliantly to help India destroy England by 10 wickets. Bumrah ran through England’s top order with the help of Mohammed Shami thanks to the swing and bounce on offer. When England was bowled out for just 110, the 28-year-old returned to help clean up the tail and finished with career-best figures of 6/19. The chase was then easily won by India without losing a single wicket thanks to Rohit Sharma’s 58-ball 76 and Shikhar Dhawan’s steady performance at the other end.

The legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar praise Bumrah “phenomenal” performance at The Oval on Twitter.
“The Oval pitch has great bounce but Indian bowlers bowled the right lengths & that made all the difference. A great bowling performance by India’s pace attack especially Bumrah who was just phenomenal,” Sachin Tendulkar tweeted.
In a subsequent tweet, he praised Jasprit Bumrah as the “best bowler across formats,” noting that Nasser Hussain, a former England captain, concurred with him on the air during the game.
“I’ve been of the opinion for a while now that Bumrah is the best bowler across formats. It was good to hear @nassercricket agree with me on-air,” Tendulkar wrote.
Nasser Hussain not only said as much on commentary, but also in his Sky Sports column about Bumrah being the best in the world.
“Bumrah is unquestionably the best all-around bowler in international cricket. Who would the rivals be? Perhaps Jofra Archer when healthy, Trent Boult, or Shaheen Shah Afridi. However, he is currently the best “Hussain composed.
The second One-Day International will now take place at Lord’s on Thursday.
