IPL 2022: Will Matthew Swim Hold His Position For Rajasthan Royals? GT Anticipated XI vs RR.
On Monday, April 11, the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) suffered their first setback in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they were defeated by SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets. GT had a three-match unbeaten start to IPL 2022, winning back-to-back matches against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Delhi Capitals (DC), and Punjab Kings (PBKS). Pandya, on the other hand, is unconcerned about a single poor performance and is willing to give players who have struggled to find their feet so far one last chance. Matthew Wade is one such player, with scores of 30, 1, 6, and 19 so far.
The Gujarat Titans’ anticipated XI for the game against Rajasthan Royals is as follows:
Shubman Gill has been the buzz of the town this season, scoring 187 runs with a strike rate of 159.83 in four matches. By far, Gill’s fantastic performances appear to have sealed his place in the starting XI.
Matthew Wade: The GT contingent will be keeping an eye on Wade. Wade is now going through a dry spell, scoring 56 runs in four games for GT so far.
Sai Sudharshan: Sai Sudharshan has failed to make an impact in the IPL, scoring only 46 runs in two games. However, after impressing in limited spells, he may gain the support of the team management and be given more opportunities to play for GT.

David Miller: Miller has had a solid performance in each of GT’s four games. He has a strike rate of over 123 and averages 34. What matters, however, are his finishing talents, which come in useful in tight situations.
Hardik Pandya: The captain has been in excellent form, scoring 141 runs at a fantastic average of 47. Apart from his batting and leadership abilities, Pandya has also contributed with the ball, capturing three wickets in four games.
Rahul Tewatia: After some brilliant efforts with the bat, Tewatia has again demonstrated how vital he is to the overall scheme of things and team dynamics. Tewatia stands up as one of their key finishers, alongside Miller and Pandya.
Abhinav Manohar: In the last match against SRH, Abhinav scored 35 runs off just 21 deliveries. Five fours and a massive six were among his big hits. The manner in which he performed bodes well for GT’s future matches.

Rashid Khan: In IPL 2022, there have been flashes of Rashid’s brilliance, but consistency appears to be lacking. He has six wickets at an amazing economy rate of 6.69 in four games.
Mohammed Shami: Shami was wicketless in GT’s last game against SRH, which greatly harmed the team. So far, Shami has taken six wickets for a 7.69 economy rate, which may not sit well with Pandya.

Darshan Nalkande: Despite average outings in which he has only taken two wickets in two matches, the team management has showed enormous faith in Nalkande. A lengthier run, on the other hand, may aid the bowler in establishing his rhythm.
