MI was held to a total of 186 for nine runs while chasing a total of 199; losing the game by 12 runs. Shikhar Dhawan (70) and Mayank Agarwal (52) produced half-centuries for PBKS; while Odean Smith (four for 30) was the pick of the bowlers.

With six points from four games, Rajasthan Royals (RR) are presently in first place in the IPL 2022 Points Table. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are the second-best team in the league. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are in sixth place and have collected six points so far. With four points each, the Delhi Capitals and SunRisers Hyderabad are seventh and eighth, respectively. With two points, Chennai Super Kings sit in ninth place, while MI are at the bottom of the table.

Orange Cap IPL 2022
With 218 runs, Jos Buttler leads the Orange Cap race, followed by Shivam Dube (207 runs). With 197 runs, Dhawan climbs to third place. Robin Uthappa (194) is in fourth place, while Quinton de Kock (188) is in fifth.
Purple Cap IPL 2022
With 11 wickets so far, Yuzvendra Chahal leads the Purple Cap standings. Second and third, respectively, are Kuldeep Yadav (10 wickets) and Umesh Yadav (10 wickets). T Natarajan (8 wickets) is in fifth place, followed by Wanindu Hasaranga (10 wickets).
