Previous India cricketer communicates concern over KKR batter’s frame in IPL 2022, saying, “It didn’t see just like the same player.”
Venkatesh Iyer, who dominated the Indian Premier League (IPL) previous season with both; the bat and the ball in hand, has yet to make an appearance in IPL 2022. Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra claims that Iyer “has not looked the same player.”
On March 26, Iyer didn’t have a chance to bowl in the tournament opener against Chennai Super Kings (CSK); but he did open with Ajinkya Rahane and scored 16 runs off 16 balls before being dismissed by Dwayne Bravo.
Iyer fizzled with the bat once more in KKR’s moment diversion against Regal Challengers Bangalore (RCB); being expelled for 10 runs off 14 conveyances. Within the 19th over, he returned with the ball in hand and permitted 10 runs. Chopra raised his concerns for the most part since of these figures and performances.
“We were all confused by KKR’s batting execution since they were assumed to bat way better… Venkatesh Iyer simply did not have the proper appearance. He hasn’t looked just like the same fellow within the final two innings “On his official YouTube account, Aakash expressed.

Chopra also provided a harsh assessment of the other players, emphasizing how things may have gone differently.
“Ajinkya Rahane did well in the previous match, and he was doing well here as well; but he was taking one shot too many, which has been his problem… Instead of giving himself a bit more time to move the game forward and change things; Nitish Rana made a big shot while playing well “Aakash added.
