Hasaranga’s to begin with wicket came as a result of captain Shreyas Iyer’s careless shot, which he sent straight to Du Plessis at long-on. Despite the game’s circumstances, West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine went for broke, sending Akash Profound over mid-off and top-edging him for a six. Hasaranga, on the other hand, struck twice in two balls as KKR collapsed to 67 for 6 in 9 overs. Sheldon Jackson was cleaned up with a tearing googly, whereas Narine gave a basic capture to the point defender.
