IPL 2022: Tim Seifert’s ‘Superman’ Catch Dismisses Kieron Pollard Match Between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians
On Sunday, Tim Seifert was outstanding in the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) win over the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 2 of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Apart from his critical 21-run knock during the chase, the New Zealand player also grabbed a superb catch to send Kieron Pollard back to the pavilion during MI’s innings.
Pollard got a delivery from Kuldeep Yadav, on middle, during the fifth delivery of the 16th over. Seifert was standing inside the ring at mid-wicket when the all-rounder pulled it flat. The Kiwi instinctively dived to his left and snatched the ball with ease.
Delhi crushed MI by four wickets much appreciated to an undefeated 75-run association between Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav. DC accomplished 179 for six in 18.2 overs whereas chasing a 178-run goal. Lalit scored 48 runs in 38 balls, counting four fours and two sixes.
Axar, on the other hand, remained unblemished after smacking 38 off 17 conveyances. Two fours and three maximums were hit by the spinner. Basil Thampi was in fine shape for MI’s bowling unit, taking three wickets.

MI first scored 177 for five in 20 overs, with Ishan Kishan hitting an unbeaten 81 off 48 balls. In addition, the India international hit 11 fours and two sixes.
