The Gujarat Titans have discharged their song of devotion “Aava de.”
The Titans announced their anthem ‘Aava De’ on Friday, a day before the commencement of the Indian Premier League.
The song, composed by Dub Sharma and sung by Gujarati folk singer Aditya Gadhvi; combines Gujarati culture with the team’s desire to make a mark in the world’s most prestigious T20 event. The hymn begins with Shri Kavi Narmad’s renowned lines; “Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat.” The words ‘Aava De’ signify a challenge to ‘Bring it on.’
“Aditya Gadhvi and I sought to bring in the flavor of Gujarat,” composer Dub Sharma stated of the partnership. We also wanted to emphasize the Gujarat Titans’ slogan, ‘Aava De;’ which means ‘Bring it on.’ I’m convinced that there will be portions of the song that stick with folks.”
“I knew I wanted to portray the intensity, character, and personality of Gujarat through this song; when I had to sing it for the Gujarat Titans.” I chose a song that is associated with the state. I’m overjoyed that it was well received by the Gujarat Titans. “I am confident that when this is played in the stadium; everyone will sing ‘Hove Hove’ together, energizing the Gujarat Titans,” Aditya Gadhvi added.

The Gujarat Titans are a group from Gujarat, India. Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), both debutants in this year’s Indian Premier League; are the modern kids in the piece (IPL).
